their silver band is awesome too...



i haven't been able to long escape thoughts of homeless people this last few days. it has been so cold *in* my house i've shuddered to think of those who have no house to shelter in. especially at christmas. it doesn't have to be £19 we give, or even £9, but giving something - anything - can make a huge difference to someone who has nothing.

if you don't dig the salvation army (personally i think they are wonderful, and do a lot of good) then pick another charity. oxfam is good for local and overseas work, or the nspcc as reccommended by notes from the frugal trenches or shelter... there is so much need, and we ca so easily give, especially at christmas, when giving is on the brain anyway. i am challenged to do more...

p.s. if rage against the machine can pledge their royalties, i'm sure i can spare some change...
