until christmas, that is. i am excited, and people at work are treating me like i'm a little nuts. childLIKE i tell you, not childISH, childLIKE. you know, the good kind.
i've spent a lot of time today thinking about post-Christmas life, and how everything changes in two short days: moving house, changing jobs, shaking up my whole way-of-life routine. and it's exciting and a little nerve-wracking (but mostly exciting). in 2010 i'm going to spend more time crafting, and less time *thinking* about crafting. i'm going to make myself excercise regularly (now that my daily on-foot commute will be becoming a by-car commute...) and i'm going to read. a lot. so far on my reading list for the new year I have Life and Fate One Day and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society...any other suggestions?
now i have to run downstairs and bake a speedy batch of biscuits as last-minute gifts for people at work: then i will be snuggling down with blankets and my darling Marches
so excited for you!
ReplyDeleteI was going to ask you for some advice on good reads!!
