A wonderful Boxing Day...

spent...

* Watching "Anne of Green Gables"
* Knitting gloves
* Buying boots half-price on sale after a spur of the moment duck into TK Maxx when we ventured out for milk...
* Bubble&Squeak!* (*secret confession: i possibly like bubble&squeak even better than Christmas dinner proper. It's way up there at the very least. Yum!)
* Playing "Snakes and Ladders" (a joke present to us from my Aunt&Uncle for"post-Christmas Dinner entertainment")
* Now we are sitting down to watch "Kind Hearts & Coronets" and drinking our post-game coffees...and I am going to crochet for a bit.

I hope everyone else has had as lovely a Christmas as I'm blessed to be enjoying!

  1. Love Anne of Green Gables. It's been a while since we've watched it. Now you have me craving it. I really am not familiar with all the other things on your list! Possibly because I don't live in England? Sounds interesting, though. Merry Christmas.

  2. haha yes probably! bubble&squeak is re-fried leftover vegetables from christmas dinner (i make my mum cook extra so we have plenty for boxing day ;) and "kind hearts&coronets" is an old black&white british comedy...

  3. What a fun boxing day! Ours was kinder boring ... just ate and watched tv in general I think. I miss my family at Christmas. It's not the same at all.
