Some friends came to stay this weekend - our original plans postponed due to the weather - but it was a lovely weekend of doing not a lot of anything but talking and spending time together and sitting in front of the fire drinking tea.
And I am grateful for good friends and simple pleasures.

DeleteWell, I did 3 12 hour shifts Friday, Sat and Sun night, worked in 3 different departments, had a patient who cut off his thumb with a circular saw, (they reattached it), extubated and assisted another man toward heaven with his three sons attending and came home to water pouring through the bathroom ceiling - the ceiling is all torn out and we still haven't found the leak. I'm sorta glad the weekend is over! Love, Linda
