I'm always really inspired by the blogs I read and this week, Notes from the Frugal Trenches epic to-do list made me think of all the things I haven't got done this week.
Why?
Because my brother, the TV show King {srsly, he has been instrumental in getting me sucked into so many shows lately!} lent me series 1 of Alias, which I never saw when it was first broadcast and now cannot switch off. Oh, sweet Moses! It is super addictive. Soooo I've been doing lots of crochet {I have a new blanket ready for my Folksy shop once I finish weaving the ends in and take pictures!} and a lot of this: :o at all the twists and tunrs, and....not a lot else ;)
Nevermind, says I! It's the weekend, I can write an epic to-do list a la FT and plow through it! And then I remembered my New Year Promise not to pile too much additional pressure on myself and decided to chill right out and enjoy my weekend.
So, my epic to do list of epicness has become:
And, probably, start on series 2 of Alias which has just arrived courtesy mo' bro'. Aaaauuuggghhh!!
What are your plans for the weekend?

You my dear girl are on the right track. Do nothing as much as possible so you can rest and stay well and not strain your eyes. Those of us who have no kiddos don't have as much pressure to do except what we put on ourselves (which I do a lot of). So I'm glad to read that you have remember your New Year Promise.
ReplyDeleteThankyou! I am my own worst enemy with doing too much, but really making a conscious effort this year *not* to. Hope you have had a lovely Saturday! xxx
DeleteI wouldn't call all that crochet...nothing. Planning that trip to Amsterdam sounds wonderful...both the planning and the trip!
ReplyDeleteThankyou! We haven't booked anything yet, still trying to decide on dates to go. But it's ages since I travelled, so really looking forward to it! ;)
DeleteI TRY and make the weekend restful. This weekend: Friday into London for shopping, show and dinner / Saturday: Farmer's market for food, gift shopping for birthday, lunch out then visit son for some flat repairs, NOW rugby, then cook dinner. Sunday: more repairs for son, rugby, then family for roast dinner! No time to relax or craft. Looking forward to restful Monday.
ReplyDeleteArg, buys weekend! But - Friday sounds lovely! What show did you go and see? /nosy ;)
DeleteHi Rachel,
ReplyDeleteI love when I find a series to get absorbed in while working on projects, it is the best! I'll have to check out Alias.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a lovely comment on my wurm hat. Hope you get a change to make one up too.
Me, what am I a doing this weekend? I'm working on a few projects and watching Downton abbey, my favorite show right now.
Hugs,
Karen
Ah Downton Abbey ;) Perfect to watch with knitting!
DeleteWhat am I doing this weekend? Why, spending time with you, of course! (and fighting the urge to give too much away about Alias, since I'm a couple of series ahead of you! ;-p)
ReplyDelete:p
DeleteLove Alias. It's in second to The West Wing on my Top TV progs list. I was so obsessed with the show that I went to see Jennifer Garner on Broadway - she did a meet and greet after the show too and was lovely.
ReplyDeleteAnyway enough of my fan girl rambling hope you're having a restful weekend x
I never watched The West Wing either! But I'm really loving Alias...and so glad to hear about Jennifer Garner, she seems like one of those Actors who is lovely in real life too. :)
